    Bought this for my 90 year old mum – she preferred the wrist band idea to that of a neck pendant – she got the hang of the basics fairly quickly and particularly likes the volume adjustments for both ring and hearing the caller. The wrist band vibrating to alert her to a call is real bonus to us as she was missing our calls all too regularly. She also likes the large buttons and bright display.
    The emergency contact aspect is brilliant and worked a treat on a test run. There is just so much to like about this equipment, not least the build quality and relative ease of set up. Have had now for over three months and can only repeat how chuffed we all are with it

    Only had the phone a couple of weeks, but so far very pleased with sound quality and design of all elements of the phone set. It was really easy to set up, & the clarity of the instruction book is excellent (makes a change!). The handsets have many useful features, (large choice of how many times phone rings b4 the ans machine is activated etc..). Using the phone is very intuitive, so that I rarely needed to refer to the instruction book. It’s a lot to pay for a phone set, but having checked out the competition I think The Amplicomm Powertel 680 Dect) is not overpriced.. The unusual features (such as the remote emergency pendant) and ability to increase the sound up to 40 DBS make the phone ideal for older people and those with hearing probs. Even people without hearing difficulties can often appreciate the chance to increase sound levels to help with background noises or poor phone line connections.
