Very good phone when you get used to it. I received a reply from the seller when I had asked a question in messages and did not find the answer. The question was about mark in contacts. The option to mark contacts is in case you want to select several contacts at the same time to delete them or to move them to the Sim card. The big buttons and the font size for texting is great if your eye sight is not so good-I am very pleased with it.I just had to put in my O2 sim card from anothedr pbone and all my contacts were in the phone ready for use

I bought this phone for my mother-in-law who is 100 years old. She was delighted that she could phone from her room in the care home and wanted to use it straight away. With a little guidance she was able to use it. The buttons are big enough for her to use and the volume was good. There is actually quite a bit of sophistication to the phone, excellent for the price, but we decided to keep it as simple as possible: green button to answer; red button to end the call. She found even that a little difficult to remember, but the care staff help out. They don’t want to learn something complicated either when helping my mother-in-law. In the context of a care home the emergency button on the back is rather redundant, since help is always on hand, but makes it simple for an elderly person living alone to get help quickly without having to dial a full phone number. One button does it all. If you have an elderly relative or have dexterity problems yourself, this phone is worth every penny.

I purchased this for my 99 year old mother in law for when she went into respite care, as she was petrified about not being able to contact anyone. I chose it because it had large buttons, was simple to use with speed dial capability and an emergency button. Various reviews stated that it was hard to use for texting, but there was no chance my mother in law would get that sophisticated anyway. The stand out feature that made me choose this model was the charging base, that meant it would be similar in operation to her landline phone.
After charging it and spending a couple of hours programming all the numbers in and turning off the screen lock feature, I explained it to her and left it on her bedside table in the charger.
After a short time it became obvious that you could NOT leave it in the charger, because when the battery was fully charged it kept cycling the load screen and as soon as you picked it up it switched off, necessitating holding the red key down to turn it back on, completely defeating the objective.
I also tried leaving on charge with the lead plugged directly in, and this was slightly better, but it still unpredictably switched off,
When it was taken off charge this behaviour stopped, but this was not the reason I bought the phone,
It will be going back
