    This is the second phone of this model I have purchased in a month, having returned the first. The new phone has exactly the same fault as the first…”No base link”
    Yes, I follow all instructions given in the manual to a tee…..but to put it bluntly it does not charge.
    The BT “helpline” does nothing but blame the power sockets in my home . These work fine and the charger “lights up” which surely indicates power…but just this same message on two separate purchases?
    I am not blaming Amazon at all for this because, as usual, the delivery has been exemplary but the lack of support from British Telecom is not to be commended. I do not want to send this product back for the second time, but I am seriously considering doing so.

    Even if you don’t need big buttons or are bothered about nuisance calls, these are good land-line phones. Lightweight, a loud ring, clear audio with plenty of volume if you need it, plus being silvery easy to spot when forgetfully put down somewhere. Also have a base-unit button to ring them for even easier location. Only downside is the amplify button on the right-hand side is exactly where I put my fingers when picking them up, so I keep catching that (would be a 5* product otherwise).
