   This was bought as a secondary phone to hold two SIM cards which I use when abroad. Replaced a similarly basic phone which did the same job so I did not expect much – all I wanted was a phone to make calls and write texts. Unfortunately this phone does not do either of these things very well.
   Call quality is, according to all people I have spoken to via this phone, atrocious. I can hear my conversation partners well, but everyone I have spoken to tells me that they can hardly understand a word I am saying, even when I switch on loudspeaker and practically scream into the phone.
   Writing SMS is very tedious since the phone does not appear to feature any sort of predictive text like T9 which really has been standard on a phone with a 3X4 numeric keypad for at least 20 years.
   I would also add that battery life is really quite terrible – lasts around 2 days in standby which is remarkably bad for a phone like this.
   Would definitely not recommend.

   A lovely to look at and to use mobile phone. AEG are a name I trust along with 24 month warranty. It is sturdy and straightforward. Great ring tones, it’s all pros and no cons.    Phone initially worked well as a backup phone for travelling, but the charging cable was a tight fit. It turned out that this was slowly damaging the internal connector and appears to have bent one of the connections so that it is now impossible to recharge the phone. Unfortunately this has happened just outside the return window so I am left with a (compact, and pocket-friendly) brick.
